We investigated the interface between Single-Layer MoS2 and the silver surface to unveil ageing effects related. Monolayer MoS2 has been deposued on silver by pulse laser deposition, the effects after exposure to atmosphere, humidity and oxygen have been monitored by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoemission spectroscopy. The observed effects are non permanent and storage in vacuum can restore the as deposited conditions. A capping layer made by polimer is able to prevent the aging effects.
