Andi Rabia successfully defended his PhD thesis work entitled: "On-surface fabrication and molecular-scale investigation of 1D and 2D carbon nanostructures based on sp-sp2 hybridization". EspLORE@ELETTRA Synchrotron

A beamtime experiment has been approved at ELETTRA Synchrotron light source in Trieste (Italy). The experiment will be done at the IUVS beamline from 8th to 13th of February. Pietro Marabotti, Valeria Russo and Carlo Casari will be there with samples produced within the EspLORE project for advanced characterization techniques available at ELETTRA. https://www.elettra.trieste.it/index.html

EspLORE virtual meeting under Covid-19 restrictions

Today our periodic EspLORE meeting has been done in distance mode to comply with Covid-19 restrictions in Italy. Thanks to efforts put by Politecnico di Milano to provide tools for teleworking we were able to meet, discuss and chat in a virtual meeting room. We are trying to go on with the project activities even without accessing to the labs.
