Carlo S. Casari has been recognised as outstanding peer reviewer for RSC Nanoscale Advances in 2020. Every year The Royal Society of Chemistry - RSC highlights its outstanding peer reviewers. We investigated the interface between Single-Layer MoS2 and the silver surface to unveil ageing effects related. Monolayer MoS2 has been deposued on silver by pulse laser deposition, the effects after exposure to atmosphere, humidity and oxygen have been monitored by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoemission spectroscopy.
